I'm not sure if i was toyed with or not.. last night i was on the way to tweeter to get some work done, (more on that when its done) i came to a stop light next to a mustang cobra.. mid 90's ish kinda year. we didn't gun it from the get go, but both didn't want to be out-gunned by the other and stayed about even. another red light and i had pulled behind him because of a soccer mom in a friggen excursion.. he gunned it and so did i. i actually had to let off twice to stop from rear ending him.. then i changed lanes and pulled up to his door before we both let off.
from the sound of his engine it was wound out.. it didn't sound like he missed a shift at all either. so i'm not sure what to think. i thought they were faster.. my only mod is a 72mm TB and a cheesy home brew intake. for the moment

mid 90s were only like 260-275 hp. My friend has a 98 cobra. feels fast but they are not as powerful as stated by the manufacturer. His was suppose to be 305 hp but no where near that. I stayed up next to him in my shelby before i even did any work to it. Either way go put that nitrous on and go smoke em!

I know of several mid 90's GT's with 4.6 motors (a few of them have auto trannies) that are usually only good for 14.6 to 14.9 ET's in the 1/4 mile.....
If you've got the 3.92 rear and a 72 mm TB and some exhaust work, I think you pretty much had a level playing field.
If that's the case, then nice work....

actually all that crap is sitting in boxes waiting to go on guys.. i had "waiting to be installed" but accidentally deleted it when i took off all the mods but performance related ones. still waiting for the heads to get done. just waiting on 110lb valve springs.
