Thanks, Cudashoe nice truck yourself, did you have any problem painting your hood?
My 2002 has the 4.7, 3.92 gears, MBRP Cuda exhaust, and since the truck is new I have a whole list of mods on the way. As a result of the collision I moved up the body mods first. Now its time to work on a 3/2 lowering kit and engine mods.
As far as the collision you can read the whole story on my old posting "Crash 5-10 mph Impact photos"

If you want to make it functional - check this out for the 4.7

Awesome sound with it! I just need to open up my scoops for true ram-air.

cudashoe,
I had my hood cut open when I ordered it, and now I am designing a air box to duct the air flow. This dual inlet filter looks good so I need to see who it might line up. Did you buy one? if so do you have pics?

Mine were not open. AAR makes an air box for the 5.9/5.2 trucks, but not the 4.7. I bet he could make a box with that in-take. I will have to e mail AAR!!!

I have installed it and it is awesome. Great sound but I need to take pics. I will do that tomorrow. The filters line right up with the scoops, but the angle is different. Side to side location is perfect.

Oh and no problem painting the hood. Usual rock chips though. I just keep touch up paint handy but have only had to use it 3 times in 2 years now.

cudashoe,
Where did you buy yours from, I did not get to order from e-bay as the auction had ended.
Does the filter face forward or is it off to the passenger side going from front to rear?
I tried to get the Ram air box from alan at aar but like you said they dont make one. I was going to make my own out of fiber glass. This new filter kit might make it a lot more easy.
I would make boxes for each filter and use foam to
seal the top to the hood like the intake system on the 70 Buick GS. I realy would love to see pics when you get them

I can't see the pictures well enough, but if I'm not wrong, does it say R/T on the side or your QC? I didn't think they made a R/T version? Just curious.
