I know that in a past post, I asked you why you did those mods to your 97 and I believe you told me that you wanted something a little different. If I wanted to do similar mods to a 2WD, would I get the truck to go faster if I didnt put a 31" offroad tire on? What is your 1/4 mile time with NOS and a charger w/ those tires on? What brand tire do you got on there anyway?

I haven't baven't been able to get a time with the NOS and S/C at the track...yet. Been busy with a lot of "test and tune" and Dyno tests which wouldn't be accurate with the NOS.
I run 32" BFG's (even at the track...stay out of the water box with them) and they bite very well on the launch.
Fastest time: 15.72 @ 88mph in my 4390lb beast.
Estimated time with the NOS: 15.4-15.3 @ 89-90mph (Not accurate but close...will be running it this summer in Houston with the NOS and S/C.)

Water Box = the burnout area at the track (before the staging area).
In theory, yes...I could go faster...but I don't want to run smaller tires...hehehhe....I like using imports as wheel chocks. ;)

A custom jetted 30HP shot. (Mainly for a intercooling effect...nitrous works exceptionally well with a supercharger.)
In the summer, the heads will be coming off for a "cleanup" valve job and better springs as well as studs instead of bolts to hold the heads. (Will probably take it back up to a 50HP shot after that.)

Should add this as well....
Before the supercharger, I was running a 100HP shot at the track and a 75HP shot on the street...without any problems.

What is the best place to get NOS? What is the best price you have found. I have been thinking about mabey getting a little 75-100 for my 95 V6. Any idea how much it'll drop my 1/4 times? I haven't been able to check 1/4 times yet, but i should be in the high 16's. Is high 15's possible with a 100 shot? Also what are the mods neccasary for the NOS to work properly?
