I just bought a 2000 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab for 18,999 with automatic trans. 3.9 V6 it has handling package in it and A/C and it only has 6000 miles on it. Does this sound like a good deal? Also 2wd.

Well NADA says it should retail for $18,800 and should trade in for $16,125
Kelly Blue Book says $18,575 in my zip code.
Goto www.nada.com and www.kellybluebook.com and check again with your info. Also I would goto www.carfax.com and check it to make sure everything is ok there too. Over all Id say you got a ok deal.
I bought a 98 Dakota Reg Cab 4x4 with no AC, 5spd, 3.9 v6 with 17,000 miles on it.
Nada says its worth $13,625
Kelly BlueBook says $14,200
I paid 12,500 So I think I did ok.

well I think you could of gotten a 2001 for close to the same deal. with all the incentives they are giving, low finance and money back you could of gotten a V8 automatic for close to 20,000. I'm not saying you got a bad deal. As long as your happy with your truck what does it matter..

in 2000 i bought a 99 dodge dakota 4x4 sport cc v6 for 18500 with 18000 miles. blue book for my truck was 21000 and trade in was like 17000 at the time. oh and the truck was originally bought in sept 98 so i think i got a good deal.

I bought mine 1 year ago. 98 White Sport Club Cab, 2wd,5.2, auto, towing package, shell(took it off),cruise,disc changer,A/C, bucket seats, (loaded) 21,000 miles. For $15,000.
