Yep. Carsdirect is a great tool - after custom-designing my truck, I looked at all the prices. They'll show you MSRP, invoice, and their own price. Usually, their price falls somewhere in between MSRP and invoice, but this time, it was more that $500.00 BELOW invoice. I printed it and took it to several local dealers, explaining the following :
I know what the truck (and the individual options) cost the dealership
I would likely buy from them if they can BEAT the price from Carsdirect
I AM in Southern California, and there's 17 dealers within 50 miles, so if they don't feel like living with a smaller profit, another dealer will
Including the Factory rebate of $2000.00, I've managed to turn a sticker price of $24,500 into $19,200.
I would recommend this site to all potential buyers, you have nothing to lose... except sticker-shock!
