on 2/25 i ordered a Street Scene grill insert for my dak from truckperformance.com
The people there lied to me on six occasions about ship dates, backorderes, availability etc.
Eventually they told me that Street Scene was having some problems keeping up with demand, and they were the ones lying to truckperformance.
So i don't know who is lying to who, but last i heard they are to be shipped out 4/9
Does anyone have any information or similair problems or a contact number for street scene?

I don't know about Street Scene, but I've heard nothing but CRAP about truckperformance.com lately, all complaints involving non-shipment AFTER payments have been received. They're local to me, and I ordered a set of Taylor wires, yet they sniveled about "allowing me" to pick them up. It seems that they're a tiny 1,000 sq. ft. broker for all the manufacturers, and that they actually stock very little, if anything at all. I'd steer clear of this place - there's too many other REPUTABLE sites from which to buy from. Maybe they'll see this site and find a way to make their business a little more reliable. Try Trader's or Godfather's.

For those of you that scrutinize these postings, the Taylor wires mentioned in the above posting were purchased for my S-10, just in case anyone was going to point out that the 4.7 has no plug wires.......

The other problem is: Truck Performance sells parts the manufacturer hasn't even released yet.
