Subject: Spark Plugs....i know i know...

Spark plugs, to tell ya the truth, i don't know anything bout them. But i wanna get these autolite plugs yall keep talking about and this Robert Shaw 180 thermostat. I would definitely need help on this. I looked in my engine, i see like one or two possibilities where a spark plug may be but i have no idea. Also, the location on the thermostat would be helpful too. I thought i saw it but not sure. I also looked at Autozone and saw a buncha different kind of Robert Shaw thermostats. Help would DEFINITELY be appreciated!!!

The plugs are good. They are cheap and they work. I got mine for less than a dollar. The thermostat is also a good addition. I remember when I put mine in I stripped out the threads and had to retap them. It held up well for the past six years though. Be careful when working with an aluminum intake manifole... THats the moral of the installation story. :-)

Try picking up a Haynes or Chiltons manual, or even better yet would be a service manual. These can tell you where all kinds of stuff is located under the hood.

drew,

Try a subject search here at this forum.
If you have a v-8, expec. the 4.7,
The t-stat is GT755-180
the 4.7's t-stat is on the pass. side front of the block at the BOTTOM, in the housing the lower house is hooked to.
