I just picked up some amsoil 10W 40 synthetic motor oil and then relized that I need 10W 30. Will this hurt any thing if I use the 10W 40?

Just my thoughts:
I use 10W40 in the summer time when it is hot out and just before Autum I switch back to 10W30. I have used Amsoil for over 6 years now and have never had a problem with any of my vehicles doing this. I know that you shouldn't switch, but who wants water in their engine during the summer?
Just my 2 cents.

Someone uses pseudonyms to strike up discussions about oils or additives. Various people on this forum attempt to answer their questions (including me). It is all a ploy to bait AmsoilSponsor so they can begin their Amsoil vs. Redline vs. Mobil1 Bull$hit and bash the Amsoil Guy.
Seen it at least a dozen times.
