this is not dakota related but ...mom's car intrepid had to replace wire from battery to alt. i have rerouted it two times keeps melting i was using that si king wire from parts express ..... what do i need to buy .. if you say autozone or advance been there and dont have a piece of wire long enough.... i am at my wits end and mom getting angry b/c cant drive car ....p.s that battery wire is supposed tto withstand decent amount of heat right ... another ? how hot does the dipstick and headers get thats what i am having problems getting around ...need wire to withstand that heat .. any suggestions PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!
