Kota on 20's,
In previous posts i have noticed you are the man to ask about tires. I have a set of 20x8.5 and im looking at tire options. Will 275-45-20's fit ok? I dont think im going to drop it anytime soon. I have a 97 Dakota,regular cab V8.

a 9.5" rim is about the perfect size for a 275 tire. you can put it on a 8.5" rim, but it might buldge out a little on the sides. if you are not going to drop it anytime soon, it should look ok.
when/if you decide to lower it, the tires will probably need changing by then, and you can determine if you want to go to a smaller size, or stay with the 275's by then.
