Message: I lost one remote to my truck when I first got it, and fudged up my other one weeks ago (I punted it after my trans blew I have anger management issues..... that's why I drive a truck), does anyone know about getting new ones?
Message: If it was a factory alarm system, then the dealer can get them by your VIN number. Have no idea about the cost, but I suggest taking your first born child with you just in case.
Message: You can get 'em for helluva lot cheaper on eBay, got an extra for my '02 truck for $5. It was listed on eBay for a Caravan but the numbers matched so I took a chance and it worked. You have to match up the numbers on the back of your remote with the one offered on eBay. The only snag is that to program the new remote you have to have one that currently works. I guess you might be able to save by getting them off eBay but you will have to go thru the dealer to reprogram them- say the kids messed with them or something.
