There is the sensor that wont let you start it if the clutch isn't engaged.

Has anyone ever installed a remote start on a manual. I've only seen them on an auto.

I have remote start on both my vehicles and they are both standard transmissions. However I have herd that this even considered illegal to do in some places. About the neutral sensor, I have never herd of or found any way of doing that. But I am no expert. And the clutch safety does have to be overiddin for it all to work. Let me know if you find any type of neutral wire.
