Anyone here ever put duel exaughst on a generation one Dakota? What muffler did you use, and was the sound ok? What does it do to Mileage,Hp... Thanks for any replies.

I'm about to give my buddy my old exhaust to go on his 89 Dakota 3.9L. It was a glasspack with dual tail pipes, don't ever go with a glasspack. I lost power and MPG's. He like the sound of ass, so he wants the glasspack (yes thats what I said).
Now I'm going with a dynomax super turbo with a single pipe, haven't put it on yet. If I were you Nick I would look for a famous name in mufflers (flowmaster and dynomax)
Get a dual outlet muffler no bigger than 2.25 exits. And either get a exhaust shop to mandrel bend you some pipes or I think pacesetter makes a dual kit for your year, look at truckperformance.com. I'm waiting for Bernd to pick up the things I left out :)
