In the Mopar Accessories Catalog, there is a factory roof rack for the Quad Cab Dakotas. How does this install? Is the roof on a quad cab the same as a club cab, only longer? I want to get one of these racks for my Club Cab, even if I have to modify it a little to fit. I just want to know how it installs.

The rack bolts thru the roof. You would have to remove your headliner for acess. sit the rack on a piece of cardboard. make holes thru the cardboard where the roof rack mounts are, and trace the perimeter of the rack. cut the card board out to use as a template. locate on the roof, take measurements to insure it is centered. drill holes useing the template. prime the holes before installation. install the rack, pack the holes from the underside with putty or rtv before installing the nuts. install nuts and secure, install headliner.
