 Subject: How much $ to fix A/C on 97 Dak 5.2L?

Might need new compressor, but not sure. Has a fast leak, and I am trying to sell it, but the guy who wants to buy it says it might cost $500-1000. Is this true or is he blowing smoke up my as*? How much do rotors cost?

Well, I don't know for sure what the A/C repair bill would come to on a DAK, but we had to replace the compressor on my wifes 2000 Impalla and the bill came to 890. That included the cost of flushing the system as well. Thankfully we bought an extended service contract and all we had to pay was 100 bucks of that.
Compressors are not cheap....and from what I have been told, the R134 compressors can not be rebuilt like the older ones can.
As for rotors, you can get the cheap ones for about 35 a piece.
