I NEED AN HONEST OPINION. DO YOU THINK I COULD $6800 OUT OF MY 1997 DAK SLT V-8 318 5.2L AUTO, PW/PL WITH 99,000 MILES? BLUE BOOK IS $7,550 ON IT WITH THE MILES. ITS IN GREAT SHAPE FOR THE MILAGE, AND CLEAN. ONLY 2 OWNERS. IF NOT, WHAT SHOULD I SELL IT FOR?

What you ask and what you get are 2 different things. Where you are and time of year can also figure into what you'll get.I would start by asking $8,000 if it's as clean as you say. But be prepared to wait for a buyer who's willing to pay that much. Take numbers of people who see the truck, are really interested but don't want to pay more than , say $7,000 . Tell them you'll call if it's still around in a few weeks. Some will come back with higher offers, others will buy something else and some will wait for your call. If it doesn't go then drop the price and try again. Eventually it will sell for what it sells for and you'll have to be happy with that.
