example: 235/75R15
235 width of tire in mm
75R side wall height(% of tire width)
15 wheel dia(in)
235mm/25.4mm/in.=9.25in wide
9.25in(.75)=6.94in
6.94in(2)=13.88in
13.88in+15in=28.9in tire
this formula works with all metric tires
hope this helps

Goodyear Wrangler AT/S

Now which tire is better?? And you said the wet rating is better on the wranglers marty...HA! I've been using the BFG's for 11 years now and they are the best on the highway, wet, dry, snow, and mud.

I have a 2003 4.7 Quad Cab 4x4 and am looking for tires. I got some Pro Comp 15x8 rims and am wondering if 32x11.5 will fit without a lift. If not I'll probably have to go with 31x10.50. Does anyone know how bad my gas milage will go down, I currently have stock 245x65x16's on there now.
Thanks.
