Hey Guys,
I need some help. I have a 98 Dak 5.2l 4x4 with Part time 4x4. The problem is when i shift into 4wheel drive the indicator light does not come on. I have changed the bulb in the dash with the same results. Does anyone have a idea on the problem and what to do to fix it? Is there a switch of some kind that has to be changed? I believe that it is engaging because the truck is grabbing but i can't tell. Any ideas would be great thanks.

CDAK, I have the same truck and mine went out about 2 years ago, Its just the switch in the transfer case. Look under your truck for the only wire going to the transfer case and that would be it. I think the dealer charged me $75 to change it but I'm 99% sure it's just a unplug, unscrew, and replace kind of thing. The parts counter at your dealer could tell you for sure.
