 Subject: Aftermarket Alarm & Door Locking

Wonder if anyone has encountered this problem, I installed a Crimestopper alarm system and also aftermarket electric locks, everything is working fine with one exception, the door lock feature when the truck is started is intermittent, about 40% of the time they do not lock but they always unlock. A call to Crimestopper told me that the problem is the fading dome light, the system thinks the door is still open preventing the doors from locking,
I turned the dome light off via the headlight switch and the doors lock all the time, but they also lock even with the doors open.
Anyone have any ideas
