Can anybody give me information on brakes systems for my 2000 sport QC with 4.7. I have been thru 4 complete sets so far with only 80k on the truck

It is a known problem with the 2000 trucks, more prone for the early production trucks. Bad batch of base material used for the rotors, material composition off slightly. I work for a company that supplies parts to DaimlerChrysler and visit quite often on business. Have talked to the Quality dept about it and they are aware. That does me and you no good.
By the way I also had a 2000QC 4X4, went thru 3 rotors in 12K miles, changed to after markets and problem went away. Just traded it in for a 2002QC 4X4 9k and no problems so far.

Go with the powerslot rotors and pads and save yourself problems with the DC crap.
