 Subject: Cheap Tires??

Well I just blew out my left rear tire hitting a nail, and of course it's not covered by any warrenty so i'm shopping for a new one. So far the cheapest i've found is 146 installed for 1 tire!!!! The tire is a 255/65/r16 goodyear LS which is standard with my tire and handling packing on a 2002 dak. I'm having a hell of a time finding a good price on the tire. Any suggestions besides coughing up 146? I mean is that tire really worth it?

i have a 4 eagle ls's in that size off my 2001 but they're kinda burned down, i'll get you some pics if you want, at least i wont charge as much, lol

For that money I would put the Pirelli Scorpion Zeros on. You can get them at http://www.tirerack.com
There about the same price and they are rated for 149 mph and have great road grip. The x-over size is 275/60-16's they handle great and look great.

Ya, i looked at tirerack, they didn't have the Eagle LS, just the Eagle LS A and I assumed they weren't the same tire. I'd buy a scorpian pzero, but it'd look funny sitting next to the goodyears.

Throw some 275/60/15's in the back. They fit great nd have all the traction you need. Picked up mine for $75 each at sears a few months back... I believe I have heard of some people running these on all 4 corners.. I prefer the Big'n'little look myself.

And mounted them on your the sport rims (16x8 i think)????
I didn't know that wide of a tire would fit on that rim.
