 Subject: possible damage when towing

Message:
when I had to tow my '91 4x4 home, i asked
the tow truck driver if the transfer case had to
be in N. He said no because i was in 2H. So it
was lifted from behind and towed 90 miles
back to the garage. Am i ok or should i be
concerned for damage to the driveline?

No big deal, as long as it was in 2wd when it quit. The front dif wouldn't be engaged, so your front shaft wouldn't be spinnin.
