The only thing that worries me is turning the water pump slower, causing heat problems. Anyone?

I have always heard the HP benefits don't outway the drawbacks on those pullies. Spend your money on modifications that have been proven to work.

If and when you sit idle for an extended period of time your battery goes numb, due to low rpms.

i had both the crank and alternator pulleys on my 99 r/t. it made a difference you could fill. with both of them on my lights would get very dim and my battery gage would go down to about 8-9 volts and would make the check gages light come on after awhile. i tried taking the alternator one off and leaving the crank on but it still was causing a charging problem so i took it off also. i never seemed to have a cooling problem though. if you really want to use them you could probably get a heavier duty alternator.
