What brand of heat resistant paint is the best?
I am going to paint my new chrome intake blue and was wanting to get opinions on what is the best to use.

Paint doesn't adhere well to chrome unless it is scuffed well (sandblast with glass beads).

like dr d said if you try putting paint on chrome, it wont stick. Sand blast it and when you get ready to paint it heat the surface of the intake up with a propane torch. Just enough to evaperate the moister of the surface of the item and start with a light coat, let dry for about 15 mins and heat up again. You should see a little more moister evap, when you do put on the finish coat. If you follow this advise it should come looking really good.

'preciate the help.
I painted a tailgate cover that was chrome and it has done fine... so I think I should be able to do it and make it turn out ok... oh, and swirl marks with sandpaper works for scuffing as well.
