Hi everybody love this site lots of info but i need some help i currenly have a 1997 dakota ext cab with 3.9 v6, i want to put a 5.9 360 in there i need to know what all i am actuallly gona have to do and need like what is involved and what all i will need to get that want work wiht the 360 like what kind of computer do i have to get and i was told the trany would bolt up but does it have to be moved or what and will i need new engine mounts, me and a friend is goan be doing the work so i can save big time on labor cost he really knows what he is doing he has jut never done on dakota. Thanks any info is greatly appreciated.

Go to the V6 board and search in for engin swaps, and there are many post on there that tell you what you need.
