Other than Hotchkis, who makes rear drop leafs for the Dakota? I just can't afford to pay the $250 for the Hotchkis rears, that's just too much. Thanks for any help.

Try your local spring shop.
I talked to my local place about De-Arching the ones I have on the truck now which are the HD ones. I wanted to keep my payload and towing ratings but, lower the back end an inch or two they said "If you take em off and bring em in 100 bucks, it won't affect your towning or payload ratings but you might nose up a bit more when you put a load in." I will be taking mine off and bringing them in once I can secure a backup vehicle for a few days. BTW that's 100 Canadian Bucks.
