I recently purchased a salvage dakota quad cab. My state requires that I have three matching VIN numbers. I have found 2 (on the dash and on the driver door). Does anyone know where I can find another VIN number?

Pat, There is usually one on the PCM on a sticker. Try looking there.

Pat: I'm not 100% sure on your truck but the GenI and GenII trucks have a plate riveted to the floor on the passenger side of the truck behind the seat, near the back wall of the cab. The only way to find out is pull the carpet.
