I have been working on my engine bay over the past couple days trying out some new things and cleaning. Anyway I had to go to the store today to get some pieces/parts and forgot to replace one very important thing.

I didn't realize it until I popped the hood and noticed the oil dipstick was gone. Then I noticed all the little synthetic oil droplets all over the underside of the hood, misc. lines, the fender and just about anywhere else that the fan would blow them onto.

Needless to say the muffled words coming out of my mouth for the next half hour were not for the young :-)

HAHAHAHAHAHA,

Actually had the same thing happen several years ago on an old chevy I used to own (forgive me for I have sinned) It is funny when you look back on it but not when it is happening... good luck

my 'ol lady's car she had [before i got her the audi!! :o)] would straight up leak oil from the head bad enough that we didn't have to leave the oil cap on. would take about a quart of oil to drive from long beach to camp pendleton in that thing. it was fast and cornered sweet, but the oil thing sucked
