Hi, I am shopping for a new intake system, and wanted to know how an aftermarket intake system sounds? I heard it sound sloud, but if you guys have any type of comparison thatd be great, and does the noise irritate you guys?

I don't know if it's really -loud-, but it is definatly louder than the stock airbox. With the hood up, you can hear it sucking air. If you have stock exhaust and you really get on it from a dead stop, you can hear it sucking air. But it's not as loud as say... your clutch fan, when the clutch is cold. Thats loud. :0)

Jason... I removed all of my intake for my 96 but... it cam with a 97motor =) and installed a 95/96 honda and it sliped right over. No more pipe running around,also looking to install a 2001 scoop from a subaru? to keep things KOOL and different. It sounds kool.
