Yep. Still breathin'..... but little time lately for anything else.
I just bought my first house (in MoVal) and not having moved in years, I wasn't prepared for all the hassles. There's still so much to do before I feel settled.
Three weeks here, and I STILL don't have a washer/dryer, lawn mower, and my way-too-heavy living-room TV is still sitting on the floor, cuz all my friends live 50 miles away, and I'm waiting on one of 'em to show up to help me lift it into the entertainment center!
I haven't spent much time on this site lately, but I still check in now and then.
I never realized how much more %#@* there is to do when you buy a house, but it's all worth the struggles, cuz now I have a LARGE garage (even better when I punch a door into the house).
C'mon over sometime for some truck-tinkerin'.

Congratulations! the way house prices are zooming in calif you might have just made it under the wire, prices in alhambra have doubled in the last 2 years.homeownership is going to be out of reach for most of us.Where is moval ,in california ?? just courious never herd of it. jj

LA/Orange County: Small single-family home: $250,000 - $300,000. Same thing in MoVal: $100,000 - 120,000.
