OK, yesterday I left my KC Daylighters on and killed the battery. So I jump started the Dak and it started but wouldnt stay running....kept stalling unless I kept the gas pinned. So I put the truck in neutral then start it and it stays idleing....go figure...Now the truck is fine. Its an 01 4.7...never ever stalled before and seems to be ok now, but why would draining the battery cause the engine to stall?

To low of voltage just confuses the computer. They stall until it gets to a decent voltage again.
