I read in some pervious posts about people having a posi/track rear end. But for some reason, I just dont think I do. I leave one skid mark off the line instead of two. Or maybe my knowledge of posi/track is wrong? Could someone please fill me in on the missing information please.

sounds like you do not have a posi rear. if you did the axle housing would say anti-spin and give the gear ratio.

If your only leaving one mark.. You don't have a Limited Slip Differential (LSD).

You can look either in your glovebox or on the rear differential itself. Look for the something like "3.55 LSD" or "3.92 LSD" that shows the gear ratio you have and that you have a limited slip differential.

I remember it saying 3.55, but I dont remember LSD or not. I will be sure to check on this today. But since i'v had my truck i'v managed to tear the gears in the rear-end meaning I had to get a new rear end. Maybe they rebuilt it wrong or something. I thought one time before when I mashed it there was two sets of marks, or maybe this whole school thing is just getting to me and making me see things, not to mention hear things. Thanks for the help
