I like the bigger ports on the mopar filter. I have always used them.

Just took my truck in yesterday with a ticking noise(like a lifter) and they called me and said they first wanted to do a oil change because the oil filter I have is not a mopar part. He said that the mopar oil filters have a regulator or something that keeps the oil from all going into the filter and out off the engine when it is turned off. This seems kind of dum, but how can I argue that. So in other words, stick with the mopar filters.

sound a little strange but I was having a hard time finding the right filter so at least this way I have the original filter for the vehicle ..
