Message: Is there any product out there that will remove the grayish haze off of black plastic and make it look glossy black and new again ? Something OTHER than Armor All or the like which washes off and has to be re-applied every second day? My Dakota isnt a year old yet and the black plastic exterior parts are starting to get that faded look. Anyone know of anything?

I've had great luck with Mother's Back to Black. It's not silicone based so it stays on better.

Message: A trick the jeep guys use is shoe polish or leather dye in the plastic applicator bottle.

Message: MY JEEP FRIEND USED THE MOTHER BACK TO BLACK AND IT MADE HERS LOOK LIKE NEW THE ONLY THING IS MAKE SURE IT IS TOTALLY DRY AND IF YOU ARE USING IT ON ANY THING YOU STEP ON IT WILL MAKE IT SLICK. I BUSTED MY BUTT A COUPLE OF TIMES GETTING INTO HER JEEP.
