Message: Why does Dodge put the ignition coil up front, so far away from the distributor?
I am upgrading to brass cap & rotor with Taylor wires. Why is the coil so far away? cooling perhaps?
Any benefit to relocate the coil closer and cut down on length of coil wire? Will a aftermarket coil improve performance on near stock engine?
