Ok, we talked about this before so I figured it was time to get rolling on it. But before I do, I need to know how many people would be interested, and any ideas for location. I think Syracuse would be best seeing as how it is "Central New York". 2THEXTRM, since you are the only one that I know that lives around here, I was thinking Longbranch park whre they have classic car shows, any other suggestions?

Good idea on bringing this back, I know we had been talking about the end of last year in a thread. Depending on the turn out, Oneida Shores State Park in Brewerton also hosts events too and they are right off from Rt. 81. Longbranch park is in Liverpool and off from Rt. 690 so they are both fairly accessible and easy to get to.
I wish I had more time to help out with setting up an event, working full-time and going to school full-time leaves little time for myself. Of course, I would be happy to help out at the event though with anything I could do. My Aunt is a Big-Wig for the company that owns K-Rock and several other radio stations, If we had a good turn out expected, I could probably get them to bring their "Rock Box" for tunes, prizes and that sort of thing. Let me know!

Actually Onedia Shores sounds better, people can go swimming if they want and I can bring my Sea-doo's. I do alot of business with K-rock and know quite a few people there myself. I have talked to some friends of mine who own a Car stereo shop and another who owns a detailing shop who said they will be up for maybe helping sponser it. But first things first, we need to get some people. We'll see what happens.

hey guys, i'm definitely interested, it just depends on when it is. when u get an idea of when it's gunna be let me know and i can firm up whether or not i can come. is it gunna be a dak only event or a mopar event, i know we talked about this before but i dont think we really came to any decision.... keep me informed!

I think it's gonna be a Mopar Event. I talked to a buddy of mine and I think we are going to try to get a couple of local bands to play along with trying to get a radio station. I still need to contact Onondaga county parks though.

Yeah. I checked it out. Sweeeet. Too bad my wife hates those. I told her I want to get get a 70 Cuda. She just rolled her eyes. hehe. Now I just need a 4 car garage............ :-)
By the way, I agree that the last pic is better than any Dak. ;-)

hehe, yup, u can have the sweetest dak in the world, but if ya dont got a woman who loves ya, what have ya got? she's amazing too, i'm holding on to this one! too bad the wife doesnt like the muscle cars, kim hasn't "met" the challenger yet, just seen the pics, but she said i could have one someday, maybe i should make her put it in writing just in case! hehe take care buddy, and dont forget to put carpet in the 4 car garage, the dak deserves it!

Guess I can't complain too much. she's let me have my TransAms, though I am selling my '91 Formula so we can remodel the kitchen. I'll just have to pick up another muscle car down the line sometime. In the meantime, I'll drive the Dak. :-)
