Holy smokes... glad you're able to type after that... kripes... The fact you're still around means the truck protected you okay, I guess. How, I don't know ; )

Details on the accident? Glad you're not hurt (or not too hurt to post pics anyway) ; (

Flipping over in a vehicle sucks!! I've been there. I was a pasenger though. Still sucked. We rolled into a ditch as wide as the car that had a foot of water in it. Upside down, a foot of water, midnight, covered in mud and broken glass. That ruined the night's festivities real quick. Got a few stitches from that one.

Ooo, not pretty.. sorry to hear about that, decent insurance I hope -- then you can get another one! Yey!

Last time someone posted their crash it got flooded with people trying to buy stuff from it; I'm just going to ask first. When you're ready to sell stuff off it, there's people willing, just let me be first in line ;)

Dam! You sure were lucky not to be injured! It's a shame that was a fine looking truck.

Rolled a full sized Blazer once, fell asleep at the wheel, took out 2 poles and rolled, got thrown out, truck stopped rolling a foot from me in the road. It happened a mile from my house and I was a member of the Fire Dept. at the time. My brother was on the first truck on the scene and they couldn't recognize my truck, when they did I heard they had to hold my bro back because he flipped out. Truck looked like a s-10 after, they say I died on the scene, no vitals, my buddies did CPR and I got lucky, spent some time in the hospital after that one.

Dude, a truck is just a truck. good thing youre OK.
please tell us how it happened so we can all learn from youre mistake.

LilBlakDak02, just curious, I'm assuming that by you having no vitals that you were pulseless and apneic. My question is, how long were you down? I'm assuming you were shocked into a workable rythym, I'm curious from a clinical point of view, because I know how hard it is to succesfully cardiovert a traumatic arrest. {I'm just assuming you had on scene ALS care.} Plus I'm being a nosy bastard who likes good stories! :-}

BTW, didnt youre mom tell you to always wear youre seatbelt? :-}

Did you see a tunnel of light or anything like that?

Thanks.

Chris W,

I have no clue and don't remember anything except waking up in the hospital with a cop waiting to hand me a ticket, LOL. No tunnels, lights, sorry man. It happened over 20 years ago when I was a stupid teen. Actually they said I was lucky that I wasn't buckled up and I saw that they were correct when I got the chance to view the wreck. I cut the truck up with a torch kept the drivetrain for another Blazer that I restored and loaded the rest into a dump truck and took it to a scrap yard.

Yeah I was almost killed in a motorcycle accident a year ago. I was in a coma for about 24 hours. Stopped breathing a couple of times. No tunnels or anything fancy. Just woke up in the hospital really sick and hurting.
