My check engine light came on yesterday so I ran by my local Dodge Dealer and had them run the codes from the computer.

The tech said it was my O2 sensor going out, so I have to replace the O2 sensor in front of the cat. in my 1997 Dak 3.9L Reg. Cab. I know AutoZone and Napa Auto Parts have them, but does anyone know a part number or are they just universal? Should I replace both or just the one the tech said was going out? I have about 52000 on my truck.

I recently put dual exaust and flowmaster mufflers on my 95 3.9 dakota, and my engine light comes on from time to time. But i cut my Converter off for more horse power. That is why mine comes on. You can replace it but i bet it would still come on.
