 Subject: Stop&go Bump

I just took it to the store and back.........and know it has a hard bump(that can felt in the stearing wheel)and when i take off it bumps agian?
It can also be felt with my foot on the brake?
any idea what this might be?It just started tonite.(NO..there is nothing in the bed bumping around.)i checked the stearing link but nothing is loose??????

i had something similar in my '93. when i would back up and stop, i would hear a loud clunk, and feel a bump, and then again when you took off. it turns out it was that my upper control arm had come loose. i guess there's "teeth" between the control arm and frame that help keep it held in place, and they've pretty much wore away. it really happened just all the sudden, i never beat on the suspension at all. quite odd. anyways, that might be it, just thought i'd throw it out.
