Sweeeet. Thanks Lesley. You're a doll. I was contemplating getting something like GTS smoked headlight covers to make the front lights look nicer but this is a real viable alternative. How much do they cost?

I was contemplating the same thing. One thing someone mentioned is that the covers are really easy to steal. The diamond clear corners look so nice that they made my mind up for me.

The GTS covers are only attached with 3M stick tape right? How easy is it to install the clear corners? How long did it take you to do yours? Too bad they don't make the whole light assembly in light grey smoke instead of clear. It would really set my truck off. The truck is dark garnet red with the metallic gray fender, bumper and grill trim. Just got a tonneau cover that's dark charcoal so everything (trim etc) is either gray or black! Album #18 second one on the last row.

hey Lesley, that was the first time I saw the new corners on, wow they look awesome, great pick too makes the truck look mean as hell. I just wish they would come out with diamond headlights

Thanks guys! I need to take out the amber bulb in the centre, I don't like the way that looks. I think that the outside amber bulb should be enough.
The install is really easy, all you need is a torx 10 screwdriver.

thanks lesley. seems like everything you take apart nowdays is torx. had to borrow a torx socket bit from a friend in order to take the rear tailgate handle off so I could put in the Pop'n Lock. I guess this is what I can use my home depot gift card for.......more tools!

Thanks Lesley. Think I should get a router too. Next project :-) ----> Custom made bed dividers. Instead of a plain old piece of lumber in the slots of the bed, what do you think of this....I am going to rout out (carve, whatever) the rams head logo into the board. Then paint the board gloss black with the logo "imprint" in gloss red. Figure when I drop the tailgate to put something in the back of the bed (something that I don't want sliding all the way to the cab area and that can be kept right near the tailgate for easy access) the logo will be clearly visible. Adds a little pizzazz don't ya think?

That sounds great! I keep meaning to build one of those "H" things to keep my sand bags in place all winter, but never get around to it. Yours sounds a lot more impressive.

Keith, they are diamond clear corners. I liked them better than the regular clear corners, they helped me make up my mind whether to change them or not. I got them from MrTaillight.com.
Also! there is a thread on the Off Topic Forum called "I have sinned' posted by another 60s Mustang owner, I thought you would have been on there by now. :)

If my brother in law doesn't have one then that's the next thing I get (along with a set of torx drivers). Sears has a router reduced to $49.99 this week. Either that or use my Home Depot gift card to get one there. Have to take measurements of the truck bed and divider slots this weekend so I can go buy some wood!
