Message:
I bought my 01 CC late last september - I had the dealer install a mopar over-the-rail bedliner(something I will never do again). Well anyway, I just pulled the bedliner to clean salt and dirt from under it. The bed liner had worn holes through the clearcoat, graphite paint, and the primer on the bed rails in spots. I was wondering if anybody thinks that DC will cover the damage that the bedliner did? I know that if I installed the bedliner I would be SOL, but I didn't. Is there supposed to be anything that is installed under the bedliner to keep this from happening , like some kind of foam tape? I think that DC warranties all accessories that are installed by the dealer. I am going to my dealer on Monday - I just wanted to see what everyone else thought.

Thanks,
Kevin

I know that paint in the bed is very hard to get warranty to cover but good luck!

I'm not worried about the paint in the bed - I use my truck as a truck. But the damage to the rails just sux.

Kevin, if you can't get the damage covered by warranty, or even if you do, you might want to consider a "spray-on" bedliner instead of a bolt in type.
Damage by bolt in bedliners is generally well known and that's the exact reason why I got a Line-X liner instead and I have not regretted it for one second!
