I don't think they would just plain bolt on a Gen II 4x4 with no lift, let alone a 4x2.

my 31x11x16 fit fine on my 4x4 WITH the t-bars cranked. They are thornbirds. No way on a 2x4.

I don't know about a gen II, but they fit just fine on my gen III and only rubbed when I hit a big-a$$ dip. Hope that helps a little....but probably not. Sorry.

Are you all sure about then fitting a GEN II? I agree the gen III will take them. And I suppose the rear of a gen II will take them, but I don't think so on the front. As Josh said he maxed out the torsion bars on the front of his 4x4 but no way they will go on the front of a 4x2 without a lift, or some fender trimming. 30's on the rear of any Dakota, even a lowered one, would be easy.

That is why I said it probably wouldn't be much help....I was just trying to give my 3.9 cents;)
