I am planning to install a hands free kit for my cell phone in my Dakota. I was looking to find an external cellular antenna that looks decent on the outside of the truck. Anyone know of any cellular antennas that look any better than the standard foot long spiraled wire? Anyone have a trick way to mount it somewhere?

Is your phone cellular or digital/dual mode? If it is dual, like the nokia's, you can get a small magnetic mount one that you can run thru the door jam etc whenever needed .. that is what I have. If it is cellular, you can get a window mount one and put it on your front window. We had a small rubber one, maybe 2" that was on the corner of the front window. Bought it at Radio Shack. You MIGHT be able to see pics of it on the Ram on my website.

Thanks, I will look at your site and see if I can see the antenna. The phone is a Nokia digital dual mode phone and I'll be installing the OEM Nokia kit. I am just hoping to find a suitable antenna the is small and unobtrusive. Ideally I'd like to find a small rubber glass mount somewhere.

I have a dual-band Samsung (Sprint) phone w/Hands-free in the truck. I installed the 8" wire (stick on) from Radio Shack and it actually helped out with the reception in our local "Dead Spots" (doesn't drop signal anymore).

It's mounted on the rear (passenger-side) window about 4" below the roofline.
