I just ordered my 2002 Quad Cab, Patriot Blue with the 5.9L V8. I want the truck to have that deep, throaty sound I used to hear from glass packs in the seventees. Any suggestions on where to get the pipes and what that will do to my warranty?

Thanks

I just had a 50 series flowmaster put on yesterday, aint had the radio on all day, sounds excellent. I got a 1 in 2 out system, and had both 2.5 inch tubes exit in the stock location, out the back looks cheesy to me on a dakota

Go to Flowmaster's web page, they have wav files that will let you hear how each of their mufflers sound.

BTW, it took 3 phone calls before I could reach a tech who would actually say which muffler provided the most HP/TQ gains...the other 2 kept to the FM
party line that all their mufflers provide the same gains (5-7%)

The last tech recommended their 70 Series Big Block II, it is not much more deeper in sound -vs- stock, 2nd best flowing muffler is their 50 SUV series...both of these being based on wider, longer cases with larger 'tunning' chambers.
