I have 36k miles on my truck now and it will stall on occasion on idle or while driving. will cleaning the throttle body take care of this?

Probably it is worth a shot.

2001 RC 4.7 5sp 9.25" 3.92 LSD
Ported 68mm TB, IAT adjuster, 3" flowmaster cat back, TPS @ .76V, 4" cold air, Roadmaster active suspention, Removed Third cat, Electric fan Convertion, HO cams.
Working on adjustable fuel pressure with return.

Take off your IAC motor and clean it also be sure not to loose the rubber O Ring.

Cleaning solved our problem. Definitely clean the idle air control on yout throttle body. I think when it gets dirty, it lets in too much air and stalls the vehicle.

well i cleaned the throttle body...the blades and the inside of the throttle body had a good amount of black "mush". Started up a few times and ran fine...where is the idle air control on the throttle body???

The black round cylinder on the rear of the TB.
