i have a 1987 dodge dakota and i would like to know if anybody else has transplanted a big block mopar motor in to one like i am about to do. any info would be helpful. thanks :)

i am in the process of doing the same thing...shoemacher industries makes the engine mounts and they are expensive, i am going to fabricate my own.....i have friends that have done the swap, i am posting the how to pics shortly.....

I saw something on my classic car about a new kit out from mopar performance. You can transplant a 528 hemi into a dakota chassis. It includes rear end drivetrain tranny,mounts and all that stuff to make it work. Liiiiiiiittle bit expensive though. prob around 20,000$
