Hey Lesley, I've been meaning to ask ya...exactly what did the fuel injectors do for you? (The ones you bought recently, I believe.) I've seen a lot of them go for good prices lately, and I'm all for doing all the 'cheap' modifications I can do right now (home brew intake, removal of clutch fan, V8 TB, etc) to increase HP/torque. Thanks for any help you can give.

Current mods: A MUFFLER. That's it. (For now.)
Future mods: Tonneau cover
Underdrive pulleys
Removal of clutch fan
K&N FIPK
17" rims
and much, much more...

Well, for sure they help with ignition/starting. No hesitation there. But I also have found an improvement in the mid-range. My truck used to be a real pig in the low to mid-range, it could take all day to get up to 60, but with all the work it has had it's pretty good now.

Yeah, well, if I modify JUST the muffler and the injectors, it probably won't register much on the butt dyno *L* but once I do all the mods I have listed (and much, much more) I'll probably notice quite a bit.

Do you plan on a TB upgrade (are you a six or an eight?) That had to be one of the best bangs for the buck that I did. Immediate seat of the pants gain. I'd do that before I'd do injectors

I shoulda mentioned that...yeah, I'm a six. I got the six partly because it will save a tad on insurance, and partly because my fiancee pressured me. *L* And I do plan on doing the TB swap first. However, I will probably wait a few months to do it. I'm getting married in July and I gotta save for the honeymoon and such.
