Message: I have a 2001 auto tranny (yes, manual is better but its a pain when you live in an area that has snow/ice on the ground most of the year) and when I hit around 20mph and slow down, I get this clunk noise as if its shifting into a lower gear. Is that clunk noise suppose to be there? Im kind of paranoid of late due to the mass list of problems Ive been having, so I thinking my gears are messed up. Someone clue me in please.
