I to was looking into this, I really dont know and neither does the parts guy at the dealer, and the book doesnt say at all. so it would be more of a CHANCE, but I feel it is raised to 112 from 97 mph.. because of the S-rating tires. S tires are good for 112 mph top speed.If you buy one keep us posted.I would rather buy from Dodge than have mine reflashed, Dodge knows what they are doing in the set ups of this motor..

There is still a speed limiter on the MP computers but I think it is set at something like 140

2001 RC 4.7 5sp 9.25" 3.92 LSD
Ported 68mm throttle body, IAT adjuster, 3" flowmaster cat back, TPS @ .76V, 4" cold air, Roadmaster active suspention, Removed Third cat. Electric fan Convertion, HO cams installed.
Working on adjustable fuel pressure with return.

Slider buck, you have the Mopar pcm High Perf. in your 4.7 Dak? is this auto trans as well? and did you notice better performance overall? over the stock PCM.

I don't think they make a mopar ho computer for the 4.7. If they do I want one..!

i have a 99 r/t. i really didn't notice a big difference with just it alone but when i added the m1 along with it there was a big difference. my gtech showed about 30 h.p.

My dealer shows in the book, A HP pcm for the 4.7. I seen it. 400.00 I believe. It just doesnt say if the speed limiter was increased, buying this is trial and error.

I dont know about the 4.7 stock limiter but on the 5.9 without its 115, 135 with.

My dealer shows the same thing but CW says they are for the Jeep 4.7 liter.

There is no 4.7 PCM in the 2002 MP catalog, (see page 198). There was a P.N in the 2001 MP cat, but the dealer said that parts never existed.
