i have a 93 v6 dakota with a v8 tb, mopar performance pcm, and jba headers, and the mods where on for about a year before anything happened. then i noticed when i was coming to stops when i had the clutch in the idle surged to like 1500 rpm and stayed there or surged from 1500 to idle to 1500 over and over again, but stoped if i punched the gas. i tried installing a new idle air control valve on the v8 tb, no help. so i took off the tb and pcm and put the stock stuff back in. and it seemed to be ok. but now i am experiancing the same problems with the stock parts. what could be the problem help! thanx

Sounds like a small vacuum leak somewhere. when was your last good tune up? plugs, cap rotor. etc..check the PCV valve see if it rattles or if it sticks, if sticks, replace..
